What We Believe
OUR VISION
Our vision at Wonderfully Made is to foster a learning community where children are fully seen, known, and treasured as young creators and natural explorers. We strive to provide families with high-quality, Christ-centered care that is affordable for everyday families.
We understand that children and their families are important members of our local communities. For working parents/guardians, sending your child to a childcare program is often a necessity. Though needed, the process can stir up many questions and emotions. Some of these questions may be: will my child be taught the Christian values we share at home? Is she safe here? Will he get the attention that he needs? Do these teachers truly care and want to invest in my child?
At Wonderfully Made the answer is “Yes!”.
Our program is intentionally founded on Christian principles, designed to promote and maintain a safe learning environment. Children are given daily choices to lead their own investigations through a variety of activities (known as jobs) and projects. Our teachers and classrooms provide children with developmentally appropriate materials, jobs, and learning spaces. At Wonderfully Made, we embrace biblical principles and a Montessori-inspired approach. Montessori, originally founded by Maria Montessori, is an education method that is focused on hands-on learning, collaborative-play, and self-directed activities. As a child would do so at home, we strive to recreate a space where children are invited to observe and explore nature, engage with natural materials, learn to become helpers, and grow at their own pace.
OUR MISSION
Our mission is to provide all children with home away from home childcare filled with meaningful play, joyful work, and ample time for adventures and explorations of the natural world within a Christ-centered atmosphere.
